Jacket Potatoes

Postby Colette » 07 Jun 2008 13:36

Well since I have been dieting, ( and lost one and half stone) and Dimrie is dieting ( and lost three and half stone) I am wondering if you can get jacket spuds for lunch anywhere?

Try the Four Seasons, I'm vegan and they always do them for me. The food is gorgeous and they always go out their way to help.

The restaurant is run by an English couple - Cherry and Frank and two of the most nicest ppl you will ever meet.

Hope that helps. :D

Dimrie and Colette no idea where they do jacket spuds but just wanted to congratulate both on your weight loss. Am proper good dieting but struggling to stop smoking. Can go from a 14 to a 10 in a month but no good without a cigarette

JB so is my willpower, I am on low fat, I take slimming pills also from the doctor.

Really don't want to go mad on hols and put it all back on.

Dimrie is doing great with her 3 and half stone, so it's important that Icmeler helps us diet :D

Hi Col and Diane, well done with the loss!
There's a little potato cafe towards the beach on the left just after the ATms and ex Harry's, think it's called Mary Potato
lovely spuds and cheap too - have just read a thread about price increases, so it may come in handy

it's well worth a visit - we called in for something to eat before going on for the rest of the evening's entertainment

don't know about walking round with your eyes closed though?!
every year we wander round giving it ooo didn't know that place was there and ooo must remember where so and so is! but it goes straight out of my head when we get back
now, I just save the flyers given out by bars - the maps on the back are rubbish but at least they have the names of places on there to jog my memory!

Hotel Efes Inn (opp Havana Bar) do lovely jacket potatoes and salads. You can approach the beach bar from the new walk way in which case it is between the Blue Rainbow and the Munamar Joy or as I said from the road......opp Havana Bar

Wow all these places that do spuds, thanks everyone, I am the same as Dianne, Must have my eyes closed, or too busy thinking about Efes, ( which I am limiting this year)

Thanks everyone, for the places, I never knew you could get jacket spuds at all these places

Always have a salad in The Venice, but spuds is the way to go this year :D
