Eating on arrival

Hello all,this is probably a dopey question but we arrive in Icmeler around 11 pm after a flight from Cardiff that takes off at 14.15 with the time difference i think that 11ish is about right question is will we be able to get something to eat on arrival.We are staying in Dermicioglu any info would be great. Jeff

Big Oscar made sure the wife and I got a meal when we arrived there at about 11.15 suffering from malnutrition! :lol: :lol:

There is a 24 hour snacks place just down the road from Wonder Boys, think its called something like Tasty Corner, its used a lot by the locals as well as tourists, try their lamb wrap - gorgeous.

Also a massive soup kitchen just round the corner, but as John says sure Vince will get you some food :D

our friends normally take us for a meal when we get off the plane, somewhere that only the locals use, must find out the name of the place we went to last week it had fantastic pede :lol:

Sorry for being an ignoramous, but could someone please explain what pede is......cant believe I've been going all these years and haven't experienced pede... :oops: :oops: :oops: :shock:

jive bunnie if you look on the photo gallery I have posted a picture at the begining of the week, it is a turkish pizza with cheese/ cheese and meat, delicious :lol:

You may be getting confused because of the spelling as it is actually spelled PIDE and pronounced pee day :wink:

in the restaurants we had them some spelt them Pede and some spelt them Pide I did ask the question my self what is the correct spelling and they said both :D

will be arriving at our hotel at 3.30 am do you think if we ask nicely they would give us tea bread and jam
or wheres the nearest place we staying at the devamli

If you go straight across the road from devamli towards sevgi, (previously the old famous kitchen) take the next right, at the supermarket, and on your right you will see ozlems cafe, It's approx 1 min walk from your hotel.I've never seen it closed , we arrived at a similar time in July and had kebabs, and coffee, such nice people in there too. Have a lovely holiday :D
