They have banned smoking in Dalaman airport and i think they are planning total ban July 09 :cry:

Yes, smoking is banned in all enclosed public areas (airports, libraries etc). Next year it will be brought in for restaurants, hotels and bars.

Mind you, we were offered a cigarette whilst in one of the jewellery shops last week and we asked if it was OK to smoke inside - yes the owner said, I have both doors open, it's fine!! :lol:

You can only smoke before you enter Dalaman airport - there is nowhere to go to smoke once you've entered the building.

you can smoke in the CPI lounge it will cost you 11 lira

As most of the restaurants are in the open air I don't think it will be a problem hope not anyway

That's what I was thinking, there are very few restraunts/bars in Icmeler that you could call and enxlosed place, they all have plenty of fresh air coming into them, so don't see why it would be banned.
