We got back last Friday, and whilst we were there, thest place I found was a supermarket on the main road, at the very end, near Deniz Kapisi, just opposite the Otel Oylum.

Most other places were giving 2.3/2.32, they were giving 2.37, and even was as high as 2.42.

Thomas cook were selling at 2.33 earlier today.
Is it possible for people to tell us via the forum where can you get the best rate in Icmeler.
I went to corfu last year and I lost about 80euro due to the fact I was going to the wrong exchange place.

hi all we arrived back midnight thurs. i take a nationwide card with me it do'snt cost to use it ie no charges and no commision. dont normally check what exchange rate i get but this time i did. used card 8 times, 7 around icmeler and 1 at pamukale. the rates around resort in shops etc were 2.32 upto 2.37 towards the end allthough we did see 2.40 at wonder boys last wednesday night. the lowest i got using the nationwide card was 2.43 at the begining of the hol and 2.45 towards the end. i only use this for holiday money, just take £50 or £100 in turkish and the rest in the card account, then use card in atm,it only takes about 10 days to set up an account and get a card and pin been using this for about 5 years ish now:lol:
