Yes that is allowed.

I also get a couple of minitures from the duty free shop and have them on the plane, and just buy a mixer on the plane I know your not supposed to but there so much cheaper.

thats a great idea, for the plane, we have a late flight so a cheap night cap will be pretty good.
Is there a limit to how much you can take in?

You can take what you want on board once thru passport control but don't forget they don't take kindly to you using your own alcohol on board.

Ijust do it on the sly, never been caught. Can get 3 minitures for £5 in duty free as apposed to £3.00 each on the plane.

We just take a 100ml bottle filled with our favorite tipple and buy a bottle of pepsi at the airport to mix it in saves all the hassle.

Yep best way, saves you a small fortune on the plane, and at least that way you don't have to wait for them to do a second drinks run. I like 2 or 3 drinks on my flight going out.

Hi Geovil,
Do you put the 100ml in a little plastic bag. Are you flying from Manchester as we go on 23rd at 7.00am.

Are you allowed to take the 100ml botton in your hand luggage?

think 100ml is the maximum amount of liquid you are allowed to carry through, so I suppose if you put in the little plastic bag you wil be OK.

If you buy the bottle in the duty free then not a problem but not sure about them letting you through control into the departure lounge with it being alcohol

We have done it the last couple of times we have gone away,as long as you stick to the regulations 100ml bottle no bigger and then put it in a clear resealable bag you should have no problem,I always go with the thought if you have to dispose of it so what but never had a problem so far.
Yes Margaret we are flying out of Manchester at 7am can't mention the airline but no 2 flights leave at the same time.

That's what I thought, would they let you through? I suppose at the end of the day it's not worth it, especially as we fly at 7.00am, a bit too early. That's what they say, I will believe it when we take off .
Oh ye of little faith.
Margaret
Just read your post Geovil. On the other hand.........
