any body give a update on the latest rates in icmeler???
the rate at home seems to have dipped from m&s site of 4 weeks ago at 2.43 down today at 2.2989.
a few weeks ago following the topic on here we seemed to be on a rise so didnt bother to buy any because the local rate was been given by the early holiday makers at about 2.55 plus in icmeler.

prefer to be queted the supermarket exchange value than the banks because the supermarkets are allways better.

any upto date info please.........we go in 6 weeks so hope its not going to dip..

hi i go on monday and was gutted when i saw how much the rate has droped this week
it cost £100.05 for 230.00 ytl today in marks and spencer but i had to get some for when we arrive in turkey
hope its higher in turkey
i read some were that the rate is better at the start of the week hope thats true

I bought a small amount of Turkish Lira at the post office last Saturday and got 2.30 to the £1.

Would be good to know what the rate is in resort now if anyone can help?

Rate at the moment in Turkey is 2.41 could kick myself could have got it a couple of weeks ago in the UK at 2.62 less commission.

Saga rates are very good If your under 65 get someone to get them for you Delivered free £300 or over

Thats dropped a lot. it was 2.45 according to the paper last week i think.

So now would be a good time to pay a deposit then in sterling wouldnt it. It would cost me less (i think).

Is the exchange rate still the same in Icmeler, or is it still on a downhill spiral like the UK?

Does anyone know what the exchange rate is in icmeler at the moment?First Choice are offering 2.215 here today.

Just got mine one hour ago from Marks and Spencer and the rate is 2.32.8 to the pound. Just got enough to start us off. If you are buying travellers checks they only charge 1% commision.
We always get TCs because we were mugged years ago in Spain and we have learned our lesson about cash.

If you want to know who has the best exchange rates in the U.K. go to Martin Lewis's website it gives a breakdown of the best.

I always look on there, but the best place is in London and they only deliver if you are buying more than £2500 of lira, which I 'm certainly not.
