Can't you take a travel iron and put it in your hand luggage - they don't take up much room.

Question
Is it acceptable by most maids when asked if they could iron stuff for you
and what recompence do you then offer

It would be nice if all hotels/apartments offered an overnight "wash and dry your beach towel" service
Maybe I will move from pool to beach this year and find those nice guys who do it

Never used one since we discovered the laundries. The laundry at the back of wonderboys was charging 2 lira washed and ironed per item or 20 lira for a bin bag full washed and ironed. The laundry at the side of the Traveller's Rest opposite the Tansas was charging the same last year.
Great sevice and as always very friendly.
