Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Hello all

Been reading posts for a few years but never joined. Thought i would now (never too late). I love Icmeler, have been twice before and goin again on the 2nd June and i have never been sooooo excited.

Staying at the MARTI hotel which is amazing, stayed there the two times before as well. I have heard that there's building work going on though, does anyone know if this has finished?

Normally go to Dreamboys and the bars by the canal, but may go into Marmaris a few times this year as staying for 10 nights! Any changes at all around the canal area new bars etc?

oooh also is the weather hot at the mo was very hot last year in June but doesn't seem to be that great.

I think the building work is still going on, a I have been enquiring about there for a familly memeber it says on a tour operatirs website that building work will be going on till the end of june, but says it will cause minimal disturbane.

We actually asked the same question to the ICR sales team here in the UK and were told it was finished. Maybe that was the room refurbs and there's other more minor work going on... Can anyone out in Icmeler comment?

P.S. Our tour operator have distinguished themselves yet again by not knowing anything about the work, and not being able to find out either... ICR sounds good for next year, I think!

Thanks for your kind replies! Been to the MARTI before and it's amazing, booked with Firstchoice though and should have been told if there was any major building work going on?! (I hope)... i'm sure it won't cause any probs though, as it's just brilliant. I CANNOT wait!!!

Also anyone flown over with Thompsons before, we've only ever flown out with First Choice but First Choice have put us on a Thompson flight over any delays? What's service like etc.... Speak soon. x
