My Icmeler Restaurant List

Postby reesy1959 » 05 May 2008 14:00

Hi All

I am a relative newby to Icmeler compared to some of you, but I have been reading many of the restaurant threads and I have compiled a list of some I want to eat at. I have also made a list of why.

Please feel free to add on any must-do's and why.

Harmony Bar - Then watch the Stella Show
Vinces - ICR Meet up June 8th
3 Bells - To sample those massive Yorkshire puds
Love boat - fantastic reviews
Red Lion - This was the first restaurant we ate in whilst visiting Icmeler.
Champagne Bar - Had a fantastic Fillet Steak there twice last year.
Chef
Venice

Does anywhere do a really good Turkish night?

I will let my OH know once the list is complete

3 years ago Chef was fantastic and the food great, i have met Brownie1 and Slats in there more than once.

Last year the food was awful, overpriced and didnt have the 'charm' it once had. Big Oscar at the titanic is very welcoming and the food wonderful and well priced.

Go and see Aziz at the Masala too, nice curry if you like it!

Would agree with Erik about Titanic, but the best curries are at the Taj Mahal. I did however have nice Chinese food at Masala

Despite the name of the restaurant, Captain Bullshit is always an excellent choice, the sizziling beef and chicken dishes are fab. Well priced and great staff

Anyone looking for having a quiet meal without loud banging music and men dancing around you for a change i would reccomend the pyramid restaurant.

The food is lovely and it is very relaxing and peicefull, they have lovely music playing as you eat your food and you dont get hassled! It is also not as expensive as others and the staff are very friendly.

Hi Cassia,

where abouts is the Pyramid restaurant?
It sounds just what we are looking for. Dont get me wrong we enjoy the shows with the waiters but this year we are going away to Icmeler on our own without any of our sons.
The last five years we have always been where ever our sons wanted to go but this year it is going to be Our Time
So we'd also like to see the quieter parts.

resaurants in icmeler

Postby marjorie arnold » 05 May 2008 23:41

It is so difficult to recommend restaurants in Icmeler as it depends, like so many here in the uk,chef, time of night and amount of customers,I have always found the earlier you eat the less pressure the behind the scenes staff have However,if you have cause to complain they will do their very best to rectify it without having a tantrum.Maybe someone else will have had a different experience

Hi Everyone

I have a few more to add to my list now, thank you.

I will definitely look out the Prince for the Turkish night. Does anyone know where the Prince is?

Womble, What are the meals like in the Florida? I think I will give the lobster a miss, just a wee bit expensive incase I dont like it. I need to taste someone elses before ordering

Food in the Florida has always been presented well
and now the regular seasons chefs are back I would say that any meal will be great
Try fish baked in salt yum yum

Hello Mary,
Is this attached to the Prince appartments? If it is, it is almost next door to the Blue Rainbow Hotel and opposite the Navy Hotel
