in view of the recent fuel rises does anyone know if airports can charge you any excess on holidays already booked and paid for

It depends on the company you are going with.Check the small print on your booking form
Hope you don't have to pay it

There is a clause that states they can increase prices if the price increase is beyond there control,if that makes sense.
