I seen a thread about the fact that there are launderette's, but wondered about prices. Is it better to take a few items, or wait until you have a weeks worth of dirty laundry. Thanks in advance.

Don't go to the Moonlight one near Sugars bar I got well ripped off there, Dimrie will point you in the direction of the one we used, it was cheap and they ironed it all for you
I think it was £10 for a full load to be washed, dried and ironed in this little one

Thanks

Thank you. I will call into the office for directions etc. This site is great for information.

It was just around the corner from Zaza's or Havenna.Well worth the money.

Yes that's the one I used too.... and I had everthing beautifully ironed - well worth the money.
I'd love to know what soft rinse or cologne they use - the smell is far nicer than our Lenors/comforts or such like and seems to last longer.
All the clothes I just packed away when I returned home last September still smell as they did when I picked them up from the laundrette in
Icmeler (I have to keep going to the drawer for a sniff fix!)

I think I will use this launderette this year, hey it must be great to come home and just unpack without all the washing etc. Well worth £10.
I dont know where Zaza's is, can anyone direct me from Vince's please?

Left from Vince's then next left, then next right and bagwash is on left so go passed that and then you have Jimmy Okim's bar and after that on corner is Havana (Zazas)

It was sooo worth it to have everything washed and ironed the day before leaving - it's normally 3 or 4 machine loads and then masses of ironing when you get back... had none of that at all, it was wonderful! Will definitley be doing the same again this year!
Dropped everyting off at 8am and collected it at 6pm the same day - it was the end of August so hot enough for things to dry in a few hours!

The only thing that concerns me a little is the new clothes, colours running etc.

I usualy get a load of each, a load of darks and a load of pales, i go round ma n pa and grab theres to make the laods up.
Anything new I wash before I go and anything of the crinkle material i wash myself there.
I do as Mazz does, drop it off and collect it later on the same day.

I wonder if Vince has a spare room for return visitors, I could pick it up from the launderette and store it with him for October

Mary when we stayed at Vinces last October we just took our washing down to reception then the barman (polat) took it to the launderette for us! He picked it up the next day as well and it was all neatly ironed. I was worried about things running as well but it didnt happen

Mary I never mentioned Vince's.
We have guests who have been booking their hols with us 2 or 3 times a year from the start of
ICR and they are more like family now and we meet up with them and have more of a social gathering than hols and these people have been storing their stuff with us for years as it seems that they are only gone from the resort for a few weeks before they are back again
