Over to you guys for the benefit of your experiences not to mention inspiration.
We always tend to stick to our favourite places to eat - Venice, Dream Boys, Majestic on canal to name but a few. So ........ we're looking for ideas on where else to go when we get there on Sat 17/9/05 and who better to ask than you guys
All suggestions welcome please

Hi Fanny,
Could not agree more with what Guest's suggestion to eat at Okimo's.
We have been visiting and eating at Okimo's for 15 years ,if that is not reccommendation I do not know what is

The place is always spotlessly clean and Jimmy & Ozlen will always make you welcome. The one thing that I do ask we will be in
Icmeler ourselves from the 19th Sept. for two weeks, please leave us a table
Have a great time, who knows we just might meet up in there.

Hi Fanny
Opposite the Efes Inn
Hotel there is a road beside a canal, just down there on the right on the corner of the first road on your right is Okimo's.
If that does not help let me know

Hi Karremolinos
If you do not know where Efes Inn is, perhaps you know the Alinda Hotel,
It is round the back of that, or take the main road down to the beach and turn left at the last road before the beach and then first left walk down a little way and Okimo's is on your right.

My favourite is The Golden Moon.
It's owner is Nihat. His wife and twin daughters help .. and I remember one evening when the 'belly dancer' did her usual visit she was pretty ordinary. After she had gone Nihat switched on the REAL Turkish music and his twin daughters (about 12 years old) put on the best dance show I've ever seen.
The food in Golden Moon is fabulous and having gone to
Icmeler for 10 years now I've been to most restaurants. The Black Sea and The Waterfall are terrific too. Jeezo, I can almost taste the food now...
Nihat is a big footy fan so no doubt he'll have the big screen again for the World Cup with a happy collection of international fans.
I'll be there again watching the fitba .. hopefully with a nice Russian lady hanging on to me. It must the kilt .....

Famouse kitchen, three meals, nothing special, only kept trying this place due to recommendations. Last meal i had there was a sizzling beef, more expensive than the same dish at the majestic and i'm sorry but it did just not come close.
