We've heard a lot about the legendary copy clothes we can acquire in Turkey. How good quality are they, and what price would we be looking at?

You just need to look carefully. My husband bought some shirts and they were fine. Some of the stitching may be a bit iffy, but you could be lucky like he was...just check them over. He bought 'Ralph Loren', 3 'Paul and Shark' tops which were perfect. Don't bother with the market though, unless you want the experience of it. The prices are just as good in the shops. Last year he bought some shirts for work and they averaged 8TL each

We bought G-Star Jeans etc from the Metropol shop last couple of years and they have been excellent buys. One pair was £25 and the same pair in a shop here in Edinburgh was £110!! They were for my teenage daughter and none of her friends can tell that they are fake  Also bought G-Star tops in October in the shop next to Vinces for my nephews christmas and they were all very happy chappies :D

we went a a great one in the bazzar in Marmaris a few years ago, my husband had no undies on as he was wearing shorts, he wanted to try some jeans on so the man in the shop gave him a pair of undies to put on while he was trying Jeans on, ( I wonder how many other men he had leant them to that day also  he did not have his trainers with him either to make sure they were the right length so the man gave him a pair of trainers to try with them also, any way he did buy some Ben Sherman jeans from him in the end and they have lasted for 6 years, he did not take the undies with him they were not his style
