hi all,
this will be my first time to icmeler, i go in 2weeks on mon for 2weeks, what is the wether going to be like
how much will quad biking be
also the walk to marmaris, how long will it take?
also does the alvaro slide is for kids or adults, and prices for waterpark thanks lol

The weather will be nice during the day, although you might need a cardi / sweater in the evenings. Last year I went April 29th for 2 weeks and the first couple of evenings I wore a cardi, after that it was okay.

Never walked to Marmaris, but I would imagine a good couple of hours walk.

I would say about an hour to marmaris but then depends on how quick you walk and I'd take the beach route of course

yes it dies get cool in the evening. It took us 2 and a half hours to walk to Marmaris. We kept stopping for a drink, ice cream chat to the locals,just take your time there is a lot to see. The quads cost £35. Have a good holiday..

Both adults and children can use the slide at The Alvaro have a great holiday I'm sure you will

took us about 3 hrs to walk the the coastal route ,stopped for a paddle and few drinks,non alcoholic i may add in a couple of nice bars along the way so just enjoy the scenery as you go Jeff

I usually change about £50 - £100 here at home into Turkish Lira to tide me over for the first day. Usually you get a slightly better rate in Turkey than you get at home.

I then take some sterling with me to change in Icmeler, most places will change your money for you, even restaurants, bars, shops etc, just shop about for the best deal.

I also take my Nationwide bank card for use at the ATM's, with Nationwide there is no charge for withdrawing money.

My Husband and me usually take about £100 per day, but it depends what you like to do. That is usually enough for us for breakfast, lunch and dinner, drinks and trips. We usually do some shopping too, but it depends on your lifestyle and what you like doing.

No problem at all changing English notes and travellers cheques in Icmeler - but I wouldn't bother with the change offices, you'll get a better rate in the local mini markets.

If you're contemplating taking travellers cheques make sure you get sterling cheques.

I normally take a mixture - I buy about £40 worth of Lira before I go (exchange rate is normally good at the Post Office) which will see me through the first day or night depending when I arrive, some in English notes, but I'm a bit fo a safety girl and take the bulk of my spends in travellers cheques.

You will get a better exchange rate out there so I wouldn't exchange it all into Lira before you get there.

I'd also advise you hire a safety deposit box in your hotel or apartment, the charge is normally on £10 a week.

When you're out shopping you can use any currency to pay for goods in the shops and credit/debit cards are widely accepted too.
