Icmeler Online Holiday Forum & Reviews - Turkey

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone can give me an idea of what sort of weather to expect at the end of October, beginning of November? I've been to Turkey many times, but never that late and have heard people say that it can be cold with a lot of rain. I've got the chance of a good deal on a holiday but would appreciate some advice before deciding. Thanks!

We went to Icmeler in October 2 years ago,and weather for the first week was scorching,but the second week,we had 3 days of rain,and the rest slightly cooler,but no way is it cold maybe a little chilly of an evening,were you would need a thin jacket or cardi/pashmina for the ladies.we had a fantastic time in October,doing the same things we do in Septembe,like boat trips etc,the only thing is on the second week,you will start to see bars and restaurants closing for the season,but there will still be plenty open for the end of your holiday.

Oh forgot to say,we didn't arrive home till the 4th november,so sounds like your going about the same 2 weeks that we did

Debbie was spot on, 1st time i went to turkey was the last 2 weeks in october, weather was hot and sunny during the day, but it did go dark early and then went very cold.

Is anyone going in mid October?
Me and him are hoping to go in mid Oct, we've been before round then and had a great time, nice to know if anyone else will be there

HI we go on the 8th till 22nd 1st timers so if you see a family of 3 looking somewhat lost it could be us.

We are going to Icmeler 3rd-17th October.We were there last October(end)and the weather was very hot and we had no rain.We did the usual things and even managed a boat trip.The sea was warm but I found the pool too cold.

hiya in goin 4 2 weeks from the 14th until the 28th in stayin at prince aparts!! i went last year aswell in october and i thought the weather was just the same as it is in may or june even it was hot when we went in the 30's so u wnt be dissapointed

Hi, I've been following this thread with interest as I'm planning to come over for a week on Oct. 21, but friends have been putting me off, saying the weather will be bad and everywhere will be closed down. I really like Icmeler, but just wonder if it would be a bit of a ghost town...can anyone tell me what to expect? Thanks!
