Hi,

Another new member, although I've been to Icmeler for the last 2 years with mates, this year is the first time I'm going with wife and daughter. Staying at the Captain Silver this year, so would love to hear some comments. Stayed at The Dursun Apts last 2 yrs.

welcome to icmeleronline we have stayed at the captain silver twice they were nice but that was a couple of years ago,but i am sure you will enjoy we are going 15th aug for 2 weeks staying at the lighthouse apts cant wait this will be our 6th time

Thanks for the welcomes. Looking forward to the holiday as always, going on the 12th Aug this year (even though flight details with goldtrail are not yet confirmed) previously been in June when it has been fairly quiet so I expect it will be a lot busier in August.

Hope you enjoy August in Icmeler, I'm sure you will do. We are there until the 13th. Never been in peak time before, but still looking forward to it.

10 of us are there from 16th Aug so plenty people will be knocking about from this forum alone

So pleased you staying at the Dusun aparts old Papa is great
Ryan the new manager is very helpful his sidekick Ali is great
Unfortunately we went to early and had to move cos no hot water due to there being NO Sun
The have a NEW menu Breafast Lunch Evening really good selection
an adequate Bar pricing was on par with elsewhere

Not staying at Dursun this year but will be going back to see Papa and Ali for a meal. As you say Womble, great blokes. Would have stayed at the Dursun this year as tyhe aprtments are nice and spacious, but the pool is not that big or the area around it and my daughter loves to spend all day in the pool.
