Lobster

Postby Erik The Viking » 08 Apr 2008 11:53

Obviously Womble you had a lobster while you were away, was it expensive? we were going to have a big fish supper in Marmaris last year with lobster and a selection of fish. The trouble was the guy on the front door would not commit to a price and just kept saying ' i do good price' but would not say how much.

i dont mind doing a ton if its going to be the muts nuts but im not going to be shafted for a meal!

Anyone else had experience of lobster in Icmeler or Marmaris?

Well I can say that it weighed 1.5 kilo
more than enough for two
with drinks £60
to me thats good in summer would say if you buy cook yourself
£40 should cover it
Its a guideline Turan showed me his invoice he mad a tenner and reckons about £80 in summer
Suprisingly they are in short supply and they are large Cray not Lobster but hey who cares Fantastic meal

Surprisingly sea food is expensive in Turkey unlike Spain.

I have been to the fish market quite afew times so know the prices and you should never order sea food in Turkey without getting the price first
