Hi, I came back from my holiday in Icmeler a few weeks ago and I've been searching for a song that I heard a lot. I think it's a traditional turkish song, and people dance to it by linking fingers with each other to make a long row. And sometimes, the person on the end of the row (or both ends) holds a white cloth and waves it above their head, and people take small steps backwards and forwards. I don't know any words to the song, but i know it's sang in turkish. The song begins with some sort of reed instrument with no other sounds, just that instrument. It sounds like the snake charming instrument! I also remember that it was played a lot at the Yakamoz restaurant on the beach front. Does anyone know the song title and artist please? I'm desperate for this song now!!
