My husband has just said that it says in the paper that music in England in bars has to be below 85 decibels due to EU law and this will be enforced from tomorrow night
I miss the music playing in Icmeler after 12pm, I think it would be better if it was just turned lower.
I can't believe something similar will be happening here .
The bars we go to on a Saturday night are not even near residential areas.
I think the ruling in England has something to do with bar staff being subjected to noise!
It actually quotes in the paper that even normal conversation can go above 85 decibels and that this is effectivley a ban on singing and dancing

And don't forget most of the regulations at the moment come from the EU the only problem is it is only this Country that implements them most if not all other european countries just either ignore them or refuse to implement them aren't we good in the UK baa baa.
