Hi Folks well just a brief update to let you know whats going on in the resort. There are 2 new places opened up, one at the side of the Grand Saral called Las Vegas which is a bar/restaurant, also between the Artemis restaurant and L'Etoille hotel Ferhat brother of Vince at demircioglu is opening a new steak house restuarant called Cupids and renovations are nearly completed.Masala Indian restaurant has been open since the end of March alongside the Love Boat, Florida,and Kingsland Chinese. There is also a new bar opening where the Anatolian restuarant use to be, there is no name yet but will let you know as soon as it goes up.
The seafront is still under renovation . Pleasure as you know has been taken over and lots of renovations have been going on there, also Eastenders has had a a new front entrance put on the building.
Weather is still a bit hit and miss so to say its been lovely the past 2 days but today as i sit here typping this to you, the heavens have opened and it is pouring down. The computer that serves the webcam is still being repaired and hopefully we should get this back after the weekend.

Just a brief update but will send you out more news in the next newsletter.

Thanks for the information Shaz, staying for 1 night in June in Navy Hotel thanks to ICR, staying in Kalkan. However back to Icmeler in September for 11 nights. Will call into your office to collect my great prize for beening in the top 50, so see you June 12th.

Thanks for the update Sharon. Do you know if the man that used to run the Anatolian will still be there or where he has gone to, I have forgotten his name , he said he used to be a boxer.
He was very kind to me last year when I was ill and offered to take me to the hospital.
It would be nice to see him again this year.

Thanks for the update Shaz. Isn't it funny how most times we all don't like changes, but with Icmeler it's somehow different and seems to add to our anticipation?

The old Anatolian restautrant has been named Elvis bar, it has new owners, so i dont think any of the old anatolian staff will be there.Will let you know when it opens.

Thanks for the update Sharon. Has Vince extended his bar? Its just that when we were out in October he was hoping to extend through to the shops that were closing See you in July

Vince hasnt extended the restaurant this year, but he has extended the bar and done some other improvements, its looking nice..and he will be open today or tomorrow. He says hello to everyone and see you all soon.
