hi all ifeel as if i know you all personaly ive been reading this site for a year now had my first holiday in icmeler last august in the l etoile hotel all inclusive hotel was nice icmeler veeeeeeeery nice but this august were going to the blue rainbow b and b booked with the nice people at ICR thanks to Sharon and John for their help and hope to see some members in august

Welcome Mick I did exactly the same, I browsed the forum for ages! We went August last year for the first time and are going back 18th August this year.

hi jozzy nice to here from another newby we are going on the 8 aug i feel as if we missed out a bit last year by going all inc there are to many nice places to eat we avoided turkey because of all the reports we were getting but obviously they had not been to icmeler this year my wife and i are dragging our friends with us that will put them off spain for life

We had been to Turkey many times before but to a tiny fishing village near Kalkan. This was before we had our children. Icmeler was excellent for all of us as a family, we missed out a lot too i think because we stayed right at the back of the old village and didn't go into town much. Will rectify that this year and hope to try lots of the restaurants recommended on here.

My family are also in Icmeler in August while you are there along with a lot more friends off this site.
Will look out for you and maybe share a glass of Efes,or I could buy my own

hi all nice to talk to you all instead of just reading. ochlynda your right icmeler is paradise red rhino i am a geordie we dont do shares so i,ll just have to get us 1 each or more . this will be a real icmeler experience by going b and b we have got a lot of bars and restaurants to catch up on

Another big welcome to the forum .
We stayed at the Blue Rainbow last August. Hotel is in a great location, and depending on what room you get has lovely views of Icmeler bay. The pool is great too, a bit deep if you have kids, as theres no real shallow end, but a decent size with plenty of sunbeds.
You've made a good decision about the B&B option. We stayed half board and the food wasnt good, but with sooooo many bars and restaurants on the doorstep who cares.
We're going back the end of May staying in the Iguana Apartments. Cant wait .

I have one daughter aged 24, one aged 6 and a son aged 3. I also have a 17month grandaughter ( who lives next door!) and all of them can put me to shame!

I take it you mean on the posts rather than the chucking we all do to ourselves while reading?!?

I had also had major trouble but on putting quotes in and must have driven the techy guys to distraction
