Excited

Postby phillil » 30 Mar 2008 10:18

I am a newbie to this site. I have been reading lots of information which is fabulous. I am sooooo excited to be going to Icmeler again this year for the second time. I love the fact that people count down in 'how many sleeps'. It makes me feel that I am not the only person looking forward to Icmeler. So hi to all of you that are as excited as me.

Thanks everyone. It took me so long to organise flights, accommodation etc but it is all done now and I think that is why I am so excited. Cannot wait to go and chill out in lovely Icmeler...what a fab place. This site has given me lots of new ideas and places to go 8)

Hi Phillil and welcome to the forum. We go in July for our 16th or is it 17th visit, I'm starting to lose count :D and we are just as excited as we were waiting for our 2nd visit (first time you don't know what to expect so it's not really excitement). Hope you have a great time.

Staying in the Faber Hotel but self catering. It looks like a great place. Hope it is as nice as the photo's on their web site. We stayed in the Old Village last year so we are happy with the walk...... walk? it is only a stroll. Love Icmeler because everything is so close.

We stayed right at the back of the old village last year in August and walked into town on our 1st day. It was too far but that was because we had a 2 year old with us. We are a bit nearer town i think staying at Kurt Appt.

Photo's

Postby phillil » 30 Mar 2008 19:55

Thank you everyone for your kind responses. I will seriously have to get a bit better about using my digital camera. Which I got a couple of years ago. Do you know they sit on the computer and do not even get printed. The thought of posting them on this site scares me, as sometimes I am computer illiterate. I will certainly take lots of shots and hopefully master how to post them. Viva Icmeler 8)

Hi phillil and welcome. Hope you have a great holiday. We fly out May 5th. Are you there then? I'm not very clever on a computer either and it took me hours and hours to figure out how to post photo's but I got there in the end thanks to all the help I got from all the forum members so give it a go we're right behind you. :) :)
