Efes

Postby welshdoll3 » 29 Mar 2008 15:40

I am really disapointed I have just been to my local Tesco only to find that they are discontinuing EFES so I had to buy the last 4 boxes they had. Does anyone know if this is a national decision or just my local here in Wales. Anyway just opened the second bottle only another 10 to go

Just come back from tescos and mine is a massive 24 hour one and they didn't have any either, not sure if they ever sold it, ours caters more for the Jewish community though, as it's next to a big community.

I have heard that the Efes Management learnt that Womble and Jan were going to Icmeler in the next couple of days so all stocks of the brew have been diverted back to Icmeler, thus causing problems for the British Supermarkets.

Our Morrisons have it as well

We tried Vole last year suppost to be the new Efes. and thought that was really nice as well. I didnt think it was as gassy as Efes.

If I'm being honest I dont realy care what the lager is as long as its cold and served in a frosted ice cold glass.
