Postby mandy1919 » 27 Mar 2008 20:46

Hi my name is mandy and i'm new to forum. My family and I have been visiting Icmeler for 7 years, we stay mostly at the Alvaro.. We all love turkey so much, the people are fantastic. My son Mark and Daughter Maria have made so many friends. Mia and I are going out in May with my Parents, Then again In July with family and friends, and October Maria will be celebrating her 18th Birthday, so all the family are going out.. Better than a party here she tells us, (no hansome waiters in Birmingham) looking forward to seeing all our friends and hope to meet some new ones. :)

I dont mind kids, long as there well behaved...lol

Stayed at the Grand Aquarium last year, aand god there was some brats there. They have a water slide and it's only on for half an hour twice a day but when it wasnt on there were kids climbing up the slide they I lost count of how many times the staff told them off and the parents didn;t seem to stop them. Very annoying. But as I said I don't mind kids.

I hope to see you too Bec need a bit of advice re:oldies hibernating lol. You are the same age as my eldest daughter but I also have a 6yr old daughter and 3 year old son. We need some fun times instead of staying in the 'safe zone' out of town. Daughter would be telling me where to go and not the 6 year old lol. The children can't stay up too late even tho we tried to get them into Icmelermode with afternoon sleeps

Noisy, unruly kids

Postby Jozzyd » 27 Mar 2008 21:12

We are not the kind of parents to ignore misdemeanors lol, but we are also grandparents too, that would drive me nuts with inconsiderate parents. We prob drive everyone mad being too far other way, sit nice, eat nice, no shouting. no running etc. Poor kids their holiday too stiff parents.............

You make me feel really old if you have to watch lol. I just feel concerned that my children will spoil the holiday of someone who hasn't got children yet!
