Congratulations on your forth coming child, you will find so much enjoyment taking your child on holiday, you will live those first moments again through their eyes, at times it may be difficult changing some habits to fit in with their needs and schedule but it is SO SO WORTH IT.
Congratulations once again.

Hi Redmanc
Congratulations on the upcoming baby. I personally wouldn't let it spoil your holiday plans though unless you need the money for nappys. We took our daughter to
Icmeler when she was four months old in September 1996. As dksbbs says, Turks adore children and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The only problem was the turkish people thought we weren't wrapping her up warm enough and were constantly pulling the pram's blankets up over her, bearing in mind it was in the late 20's. We took loads of stuff with us such as a fortnights worth of nappys, food and milk. Supermarkets over there though stock the best quality baby products now so no worries on that score. Everybody is going to have their own opinion on when is too early to take a baby on holiday but with work commitments etc it was a great way to spend proper time together as a family.

I'd agree with simon, we took a year out in 2006 but went 2007 when our daughter was 7 months she loved it, especially the fuss the locals made of her.
We went out start of june for 2 weeks and the heat didnt bother her. i know every child is different but they seem to adapt quicker than us adults.
As for necessities the tansas has much of what you need, plus the cook at our apartments made lovely dinners for her, potatoes and veg blended.

My wife is currently pregnant with our first child, so this year was probably going to be our last for a couple of years, but I don't think I can possibly stay away for a year, but wouldn't fancy taking a 6/8 month year old to Turkey (or anywhere outside of the UK for that matter).

congratulations to you both
strange though how someone so small can make such huge changes - and within a day of them being home with you, you can't imagine them not being there!!
hope you enjoy taking them to
Icmeler
theres always next year.
