Yes Womble and a lot of the beautifull birds belong to this forum.

The sad thing though is when you get to Icmeler/Marmaris and the surrounding areas in the mountains you never see much wildlife.
You may see the odd stork nesting on a telegraph pole out in the middle of a field or the odd bird of prey like a buzzard or sea eagle but that is about it really

A lot of twitchers holiday to Turkey especially for the bird watching thats the feathered kind of birds.

Its amazing what the books list as what you will find around the surrounding areas but when you sit looking you never seem to see anything
