Happy St Patrick's Day to everyone - you don't have to be Irish to enjoy the craic! The legend goes if St Patrick "turns the stone" meaning if it's a nice sunny day on March 17 (and even a wee bit warm) it's a sign of a good summer. It's a lovely sunny day here in Belfast so here's hoping! Wonder if the Irish Bar in Icmeler is open for business today? Have to admit the twice I've been to Icmeler we haven't been there yet. As they say here - fill your boots and drown your shamrock.

I know 3bells in Icmeler are having a party tonight...speaking to some of them on webcam yesterday and the balloons etc were going up...

St Patricks day in the eyes of the Roman Catholic Church was this year actually Saturday gone as they see it as God is the boss so he comes first and with Easter so close they moved it.

I Myself am a Heathen and today in Bowness in the Lake district it was verry sunny and I am just off out to toast St Patricks good health in the Albert Arms near to Lake Windermere where I will be singing along with the Wild Rovers

St Patricks Day was celebrated on Sat 15th as a Saints day cannot be celebrated in a holy week!

happy st patricks day just come in from liverpool town centre what a night everyone dancing so funny went for a chinese lots of irish came in started dancing so funny i had to get up and do my bit ha

Oh my head hurts and I still have the ringing in my ears from the speakers.

I was roped in to play the Bodhran and so I did all night long.

I passed it onto someone else so I could have a sup and the singer took it back from them and gave it back to me to carry on playing.

I now have hissing in my ears and banging from the Bodhran

I think there are quite a few heavy heads this morning (including mine). Please say someone got a photo of you playing the bodhran!

Aha now Sharon was going to take her camera out and I stopped her in case she got any action shots of me like she did in Benidorm 2 weeks ago so I banned it
