Hi Sue,
We visited Pamukkale (Cotton Castles) about 10 years ago,you can also visit Cleopatras pool,a small charge is made for this, were you can swim and paddle among submerged stone columnes from times gone by.

A visit is also made to the ruins of Hierapolis were there is a wonderfully preserved ampitheatre and cemetary.

I can honestly say that this day trip is one of the most outstanding experiences I have had in Turkey and well worth the long day it entails.

Thanks Gene

it is just the thought of getting up so early :o

I have heard that some one has lost their camera whilst swimming in the pool, do they have lockers there?

It cost 18 lira pp to go in the pool when we were there in 2005.We went on a 2 day tour(included all meals, hotel accom for 1 night for £40pp) and had a fantastic time.
