We take beach towels to the apartments we go to, plus a couple of tea towels, bath and hand towels are supplied, I think it is the norm.

Towels will be supplied - the norm is 2 hand towels and 2 bath towels per person, so you only need to take beach towels (unless you buy them when you get there)

There is usually a bath mat of sorts provided too.

If I'm self catering I usually take a tea towel and a dish cloth and a small bottle of washing up liquid as these items are not supplied.

I also take a roll of toilet paper with me as most appartments do not supply toilet paper (in some you do get just 1 roll left for you) - but it's cheap enough to buy in the mini markets.

I buy my beach towels downt he canal from a lovely lady when i get there, 2 for £10, use one for a beach towel or pool towel and one for when i get out the shower to wrap round me while i have a nice vodka and coke getting ready.

Always take a couple of tea towels, and a dish scrubber, also take my own bath mat, as you never know who has had there feet on the last one

Take my own pillow and pillow case as well, and there is room left for some clothes honest

Hi Blondie

We stayed at the Dursun in 2005, our first time in Icmeler. The apartments are basic but clean and you usually get 1 toilet roll supplied. I took a couple of tea towels and as Colette said bought larger towels at the market. They do supply you with bath and hand towels but the bath towels are not very big. The apartments are very spacious.

The Tansas is at the end of the road when you turn right out of the front of the apartments.

The staff are very very friendly and we have kept in touch with them over the years. The chef serves excellent food.

We are going back there in August and are looking forward to it. Can't wait!!! :D

I'm sure you will have a great time.

Hi Womble

If you turn left ouf of the apartments, cross the road and walk straight down, it will bring you out onto the canal market. Cant get any simpler than that. It's about a 5 minute walk!!

I wouldn't be banking on the canal market stalls to be open when you go out John
