Hi folks we are having an "Icmeler Night" on the 8th march for my brothers family who have never been to gods country before!! Just to get them in the mood and all excited like we are we are going to be watching the very funny dvd made by our very own John Toohey!!and drinking efes!

Anyone any ideas of anything else that we can do??

how about playing some turkish music? to get into the mood before or after the DVD? or even get them to join in to one of the dances

Do Kiss Kiss, Capsar Slide Party etc qualify as Turkish music??!!

have you ever tried the turkish food cant remember what its called lol but it s vine leaves stffed with rice and spices and a vinegar taste? they sell them in the large Tesco s if you have one near you. Ive had them made fresh for me they were out of this world !!!!!!! Enjoy and hopefully you will persuade them to go this year

better still have a laugh trying to learn the language lol

Enjoy your night - we quite often have Turkish evenings ourselves to get in the holiday mood. .......think I will dig out my Tarkan CD now - only 10 weeks to go!!!
