Hi Victoria we went to
Icmeler the 1st two weeks in April last year and got a shock. Weather was in the high 70's during the day but the nights were bitter cold. The places that were open had raging fires going, during the day they were breaking up any timber they could find, tables, chairs, doors and pallets The funny thing was you could spot a tourist at 100yards they were the one's walking round without the puffer jackets and scarves,I kid you not. There are some places open all year but to be honest nothing really happens before the middle of April. If you have been before you will know how clean and tidy the place is, well not pre season. There was a lot of refurbishing work going on and litter everywhere, but by the time we left the place was spotless ready for the begining of the season. The good thing about going that time of year is that its comfortable to get out and about and see things,we had always promised ourselves that we would walk into
Marmaris but its just to hot in the summer but in April we walked there and back, we also got to know the locals a lot better as they had more time to talk. I would say if you haven't done it before (closed season ) then give it a go.Plus remember there are a lot of Brits living out there all year round and they like to see people from home.
