Have used this place for years, unfortunately last year a few members of my family went there for a haircut/shave and i feel that they were ripped off. I myself decided to try the one near to the mirage and had the best shave, haircut and face cleanse ever. It was also a lot cheaper.

best we found was Sebastians

Absolutely fabulous for both haircuts, shaves, beading for kids, plats and anything else you wanted

It's definitely worth having your eyebrows threaded while you're there - I was really pleased with mine and it was a good 8 weeks before the re-growth started.
However, don't be talked into having any other facial hair threaded away... I came out of (the hairdresers opposite Romeo & Juliet - Sebastains? not sure of name) looking like a plucked chicken and I really don't know what I can compare the pain of facial threading to.... uuuugh, makes my eyes water just thinking about it! A process I shall definitely not be talked into again!! But I wonder if it's as painful on the legs....?? Anyone know?
I'll be sticking to eyebrows only from now on!
They do a great manicure and pedicure there too, and it's so much cheaper than having it done here!

hair cut

Postby feefee1970 » 04 Feb 2008 01:49

Sebastians is that still open /////next to champion bar i was there last year and it was shut it had a pink and yellow ceiling I think the girl that did my threading was fab and my feet too
and my hair had never looked as good either
I used figaros near the tanas across from champion bar I only use hairdresser that aint to pushy fab cut again but a bit too short I had only mins let and another hairdresser said haircuit i said no i just had one and he said my layers wher to long , well thats hairdresser for you
I do love the hairdresser there much cheaper and talented than the ones here I treat it as a spa day feet threading hair other half sits in pub watching sport
keeps us both happy

Oooooh I totally agree with you Mazz, I had facial threading done 2 years ago at the Golmar Hotel hairdressers - never again. As you said eyebrows not too bad but don't let them touch the rest of your face. As for having legs done, I've not tried and no intention of trying it either. I don't do pain!!

My husband will totally sympathise with you dotty..... although he had his eyebrows 'tidied' up a bit when he went for a haircut. I do believe his eyes were still watering 2 hours later....LOL - men!!!! such babies

 Totally agree on the facial threading - just don't do it. I have forgotten the pain of childbirth but I will never forget the "threading" pain.

I like the hairdresser underneath the Bella Mare Hotel. Think he's called Ali. The only trouble is they tend to pester you to have nails/feet/eyebrows done etc, which is ok if you want all that doing, but a nuisance if you don't.
