Things I would like to know

Just want to firstly say I think this is a brilliant site and everyone seems so friendly and informative.

Due to business ventures I am unable to go to to Icmeler for the whole summer as planned but will be going for 3 weeks from 30 June until 21 July

My 15 year old daughter and I will be staying in Julian Forest, I know its a bit out of the way but they pretty much left us to ourselves last year, no hassle or pestering us as we were two girlies on our own, but I do plan to look around at other apartments as from now on will be booking with the good old Icmeler online team.

Anyway as I am pretty nosey just was wondering who's who in the Icmeler office, do you live there all year etc?

We hope to go on a view excursions whilst there as I dont have the courage to drive anywhere other than Northern Ireland, I was wondering who drives on the jeep safari? as its one I really want to go on and can just two people go or do you need to fill the jeep?

Another wee question is if waiters etc only work in holiday resorts what do they do for work over winter. Do they get paid enough to last them from year to year?

Ok will try to help you with a few of your questions.
Whos Who Icmeler Office Rami is General Manager and owner of Company, based in icmeler all the time. John admin is also co owner and hes is based in Liverpool but you will often find him in resort.
Sharon is resort Supervisor who looks after Rami and Debbie this year will be helping us with reception etc whilst Tracy who is usually in resort is having her 1st baby.(in 2 weeks time)
Ali is downstairs in the transfer office with his drivers and looks after all the transfers.
Most of of us live there all the time. I pop home for a short time in the winter to see friends and family and John and Rami head off for their vacations.

They do not allow you to drive the jeeps yourself now as the regulatons have tightened up on the safaris. So you have a designated driver for the day who does the daily jeep safaris which are bookable in resort at our office alongside all the other excursions.You can hire a jeep yourself and just explore the area , but all the jeep safaris are actually guided tours, but fantastic fun.

The waiters tend to work hard throughout the summer alongside all other staff in the reatuarants hotels shops etc, some go home for winter and some go to the bigger cities like Istanbul, Ankara Antalys to work before returning for the summer season.

Whats this with vacations.

Rami and myself never get a vacation really as we are always too busy working and bettering our company for everyone.

Ok they have their end of year vacation then get down to the hard stuff.Mind you they always have thier laptopsand phones with them.

Were all always working hard to improve all the sevrices for everyone to enjoy.

I agree with Shaz about them getting down to the hard stuff, i've spent many a night out with John & Rami

Seriously though, I have known Rami and John for many years and ICR gets better every year. These days it is more like visiting family than going on holiday. I guarantee you will find no better service anywhere in Turkey or the UK, just ask the rest of the family,,,Tina, Vicky, Jack, Sharon, **** Phil, Chubbs, Barbara, Gene, Collette to name but a few.

2 weeks with ICR you will be one of the family

Enjoy your hols and just because you are 2 girls alone don't hide away the team at ICR will look after you
