Hi bonzo - nice to meet you

We looked at the moonlight apartments, believe the Mayor owns them of did own them at some point.....someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Didnt actually book them in the end as just the 2 of us, and we find apartments are cheaper if there are 4 in the party.

We ususally opt for an hotel, on a B & B basis, then we can choose where we want to eat, and when.

If you book through ICR The price is per apartment and not how many people are in the party.
So 1 in an apartment pays the same price as 4 in the same apartment.
Worth looking into,I like an apartment better than an hotel room as you have fridge and facilities that an hotel room doesnt offer.
I think the words I am looking for are "You Have more freedom"

Going back to the Moonlight ourselves for the 6th year, will be there 1st to 18th August. in fact all our holiday stuff (Lilos, flippers, snorkel, masks, electric fan etc) is in their basement, saves carrying it year on year.

As you will be there before us say hello to Savash, Barish, Charlie, Mali and Nev for us and tell them to double the stocks of Efes.

Thanks for that snippet of info, Gene. Our experience of apartments elsewhere has been that if there are less than 4 occupants, there is a surcharge for the apartment.

Will bear that in mind for the future.

that's another benefit of booking through ICR rather than a big tour operator - their surcharges beggar belief and it winds me up when they amount to what it'd cost to take at least another person grrrrrr

moonlight apartments

Postby jayjay1950 » 08 Mar 2009 15:46

This will be our first time in Icmeler and we are booked in the Moonlight apartments. We fly there on 30th July till 14th August. I have read many reviews and they are all good. We have been to Turkey before staying in Side a couple of years ago, it was nice but a little too far out. The boys are older now and i thought Icmeler would be more of a place they would like being as they are 17 and 14. If anyone has any idea's of good places to take them on a night or any info at all about Icmeler i would be grateful.
See you all at the Moonlight soon, we cant wait
