Hi Gene, I do have some photos I will post as soon as I get the hang of it. We stayed in the Blue rainbow last year, but we have booked to stay in the Iguana apartments for two weeks the end of May, any info on the apartments?

We have stayed in the Iguana about 5 times Debbie, they are first class.
I also like the bar area and restaurent that serves the Iguana and have spent many a lunch time having soup and a few Efes.
My family will be over on the 25th May till the 8th June so may see you over there.
Have a great holiday

Gene

This is the bar that serves the Iguana apartments. The pool area is at the back.
There is a pool table for guests, and TV.When we were there they had internet access and psp games for the children but not sure if these facilities are still on offer

safety deposit box

Postby NATAJACK » 16 Jan 2008 14:05

Thanks Gene, Have you been holidaying in Icmeler for a long time? You seem to have lots of great photos of the place. :D Do you know if the Iguana apts have any saftey deposit boxes. It doesn't mention any in the apartment description and we didn't want to carry all our cash with us.

They have safety deposit boxes just off the reception area debbie that you can hire.
I am a big believer in using these,
peace of mind and all that.
Been going to Ish for a few years now along with a lot more of our members.

Hi Natajak

Nice to see another new face on the forum - looking forward to seeing your pics after your holiday.

As for Gene, he's there that often, we think he owns the place.

Hi Debbie Welcome to the forum. I'm new too and am going to have a go posting some photo's tomorrow if I can get the hang of it. In the meantime Colette kindly posted 3 of mine on the photo gallery and I'm sure she will help you out too if you have probs. We have been going to Icmeler since 2004 and have well and truly caught the bug!! :)

Hi Debbie I am a real novice on a computer, I've been looking at photobucket and imageshack for over an hour now trying to figure out all the jargon etc and am no closer really to having a clue what to do! I am stubborn though so will have another crack at it tomorrow (whoops make that today, just noticed how late it is) no wonder the concentration levels are zero!! Talk about a mission!! So many photo's I want to share. How about you? :?

Hi Debbie and Sue.
You have really got me going now saying you have loads of pics to post.
Pics are the only thing that gets us poor Icmeler souls through the winter.
Stick with it girls its like riding a bike so simple once you can do it.

Hiya jeff, Ive got to agree with you about the views from the Blue Rainbow, they were great. :) We are going to the Iguana apartments this year as my kids weren't really keen on the food in the Blue Rainbow, so we ate out every night. I would stay there again though only on a room only basis, if they do that.

We go on the 28th of may till the 11th of June so we will just miss you, We can't wait either. How lucky is your wife getting away from the dull february weather.

Debbie
