We used to not book our travel insurance until we were getting near the time to fly but a couple of years ago we booked a couple of months earlier, and glad we did my daughter had to cancel her holiday because of her son and got most of her money back if we had left it till the holiday she would have lost 60% of her money about £1200,so now we book our holiday insurance when we book our holiday, best to be safe than sorry, 202 Days to go.

We always book our insurance at the same time as the holiday just in case of any problems such as illness etc leading up to the hol.
I think it is by far the safest thing to do cos you never know....... :)

Word of warning, this year I booked a years insurence with a company i wont mention and happily went on holidays. My plan was to stay 2months and thought that a years insurence would be great, plus it would cover me for any other trip i wanted to make to icmeler in the year. If you read the small print it will tell you that a "years insurence" only covers you for the " first 45days" of your trip so dont be fooled like i was in thinkin i was coverd for the year because your not.xx

Angel you will find that ALL insurance companies will do the same.

Ifyou want an insurance for the length of stay that you had you have to tell them that.

The year insurance covers you for multiple trips through out the year but for certain length stays
