I was just readin about how the guys in the restaurants rememebr everyones name. Messi that works on the beach at Coco Beach amazes me. He knows my name, he calls me Kath if we chat,, but to any newcomers I am Barbara and my daughter Theresa is Margaret. He remembers what you like to drink and eat, where you like your sun bed and besides that nothing is too much trouble. He rekons he walks about 50km's in main season running about for everyone, in the heat too. No wonder he is happy at the end of season to back to his family, much thinner than when he leaves them for Icmeler.

We seem to forget just how hard the beach boys work.I have seen Messi take some crap from a few loud lads, but he is always polite to them.

Bring back memories Barbara sorry Kath, were you there in october, we were introduced to a Barbara as well as a host of other people on the beach.

We met him the other year, he remembered our names this year, nice guy I bet he would be chuffed to know people were talking about him.

He is a fitness fanatic, by the way

Oh I am sure he would love being famous. I have had him look after me for a few times now and I think he is lovely. Whats good is that I have never once seen him crack on to any of the lovely girls on his beach. Can't wait to see him again and tell him he is famous.

Mick. Yes I was there October, I was there for 5 weeks alone, so it could have been me. I will be in Turkey for Jan, not Icmeler,I will go there April for 6 weeks,,,, can't wait

Messi is lovely. He is happily married with a little boy & a girl and works so hard to support his family. We keep in touch over the winter & he & the family are all well.

Messi is fab he has a fantastic memory and works really hard, can't wait to be back in May
