Moonlight Restaurent

Postby redrhino12 » 22 Jan 2005 16:16

Accrss the road from Tansas and down a side street you will find the Moonlight Restaurent, (The Travelers Rest is on the opposite side of this road).
My friend spends all his evenings eating in this place so I asked him,
"Why dont you try somewhere different?" he replied, "Why?,I like the ambience of the place, the staff are my friends and they cook my food as I like it,everything is perfect, how can I improve on perfection?"
Having eaten here myself on several occasions I have to agree Mehmet and his staff really do look after you and the wide range of food avaliable needs to be sampled to appreciate the quality on offer.
A must for at least one visit.

Moonlight Restaurant

Postby Sue and Eve » 08 May 2005 18:45

:D After reading your write-up, and seeing this restaurant on several occasions (but never actually going in), we are going to give it a try next week when we go back. trouble is, you decide on a place, then get waylayed on the way (as u probaly know), and end up somewhere totally different than you planned !!! Its a shame because the best places to eat, tend to be the quiet looking ones up the side streets and they miss out on a lot of the trade. I love traditional Turkish food, so will definately give it a go  :D

Just got back from Icmeler. We always make a point of going to the Moonlight during our stay. This year was as good as ever. Excellent food. Fantastic Staff and a real good atmosphere.... Thank goodness some things never change

The owner proudly introduced us to his new 3 mnth old daughter Elif, and she is so beautiful
:!:

Look out for the spinning inflatable lipton ice tea can

We also ate in the Moonlight. It was about 1 minute from where we were staying.
As already said the staff are great, food wonderful.
Not only did we eat there in the evenings but had several breakfast's there which were equally good.
10/10 will be back next year.
