Brian - glad you liked turkey and even more than the lady said yes. As everyone has said, get some sleep, capture your thoughts and tell us more about your memorable holiday. Think we'd all like to see a photo of you both too when you can get round to it.

sorry its taken this long to get back with my review. But i have been depressed after leaving turkey. Well we arrived at our hotel at 6am on the Saturday morning and we were absolutely knackered, so had a couple of hours sleep. Then i went down to vogue the jewellers in marmaris and picked a really nice three stone diamond ring 18 carrot white gold. The price that was on it was 2800 euros, the guy said cause it was end of season he could do a 60% discount so that came to a grand in our money. When i said i only had £500 to £600 to spend he went and got the manager. I had a bit of a banter with the manager and managed to strike a deal at £680. I was well chuffed. So then i went back to the hotel and we had a few drinks in the bar by the hotel and met lots of nice people so as the drinks flowed the nerves began to go away and i wanted to do it right there. I spoke to the guy behind the bar and got him to put on some love songs. I sneaked up to the room and got the ring and went back downstairs then i got on one knee and asked her to marry me when she said yes i put the ring on her finger and they started playing congratulations and celebrations and everyone was clapping. Haha i had a tear in my eye. We went out for a really nice meal that night down by the harbour in marmaris and had champagne, the full works and a little guy was playing love songs on his guitar, it was so nice and really romantic. Then the rest of the holiday was a party and a piss up. Met some fantastic people. Had such a lovely time in Turkey
