Air Conditioning

Postby molly malone » 01 Oct 2007 19:16

I'm never sure what temperature it should be at, so I usually set it at about 18 degrees. But I then waken up during the night shivering. Should it be different for day/night use?

Air conditioning

Like you, Molly malone, we always have it at 18 degrees, but wake up cold in the night, end up switching it off, then half an hour later it goes back on again.

We found the best temp. at night is to set it about 20 degrees, and then if we chill off, pull up the cover for a while.

I think we get used to the heat after a few days of being there, and don't need it so much during the night.

'spose it depends on the time of year, but as we usually go July/August, I set it as low as it will go [17 I think] and rely on the sunburn to keep me warm once the room is like a fridge

Temperature

If the air conditioning has a thermostat control you should set it to 22 deg during the night once the temperature reaches 22 deg it will switch off having the air conditioning on all night is not a good thing.
