long holidays

Postby manders » 25 Sep 2007 20:03

Hello everyone

As we loved our holiday in icmeler in August so much, my daughter and I plan to go to for 6 weeks next year. We are lucky to get the months of july and August of. as she is still at school and I am a teacher and we have nothing better to do :)

I have e-mailed icmeler on line for help with renting accommodation and obtaining flights. Is it allowed to stay this long in Turkey and does anyone else stay longer than the usual 2 or 3 weeks??

I would appreciate any comments or help from anyone

Hi Mandy

Wouldn't the length of your stay be determined by the duration of your visa ?

hi your visa will last 90 days if you intend to stop longer take a day trip to rhodes and renew it

Do not overstay your visa it will cost you hundreds of pounds and you may not be allowed to visit Turkey again.

Now I know!!!!! August was the first time for me in Turkey so I am new to

the knowledge you have all gained on visas, flights, aparts, restaurants, etc.

I was only ther for a week so I didnt get to see or sample most of the
places I have read about on the forum but I plan to next year.
