Nice bottle of red

Postby elkie » 19 Sep 2007 13:32

Off on hols tomoz so a quick response is needed, I'm stressing
Has anyone ever had a really nice bottle of red wine while staying in Icmeler? I usually drink Merlot so if anyone's ever had a bottle remotely like that can you let me know? Have tried various types but they all taste vile
Can always rely on the superb efes though so I shouldn't be worrying too much should I

Elkie

My suggestion would be stick to the Efes-we nearly died at the price of Wine-its very expensive!

Will take your advice about the efes, but might buy a couple of bottles of wine at duty free.

Hi Elkie,

Don`t get wine stay on the Efes, a bottle of red wine in most places was about £11.00. We have a nice rose in the Taj Mahal in August and that was free if you had the set menu, it was very refreshing.

Sounding like a right wino here....Doluca is v nice and also Yakult ..think they are spelt right...havent had none since july back on the old Merlot and cabernet sauvignon here, but looking forward to some in just over a week.Is pricey stuff out there, cheaper in the supermarket but nothing like as cheap as we can get here.Treat yourself...on your holidays eh!Have a great time!
