Masala Restaurant

Postby janden » 18 Sep 2007 10:36

Hi all Icmelerites,
I know this new chinese/indian has been mentioned a few months ago by ICR staff & they gave the chinese menu a good report, but has anyone any upto date comments especially about the Indian food. I stayed in the Diva in August & the Masala was never busy.

Hi we had a meal there in August we stayed at the Devamli over the road, the meal was nice and the staff really nice but we found the meal to be a little on the small side, I do not eat large amounts so it was just enough for me.

I was watching the Masala from the Sports Bar and yes it was never very full and that was in August, I think this may be because it was new. Give it a try you will enjoy.

The one and only bad meal I have ever had in 9 visits to Icmeler was here, YUK. The chicken tikka masala tasted like it had been made from a packet with water in it! Tiny portions too.

We've been going to the Taj in Marmaris for years. The food is fabulous and the new roof terrace is a wonderful place to have your meal.
Haven't tried the one in Icmeler yet but we will do this time around. If it's owned by the "World famous chef from Bradford" then you know the food is gonna be good :)
