does anyone know if cider is readily available?, as i was in gumbet earlier on in the year and it was scarce.

Hi Bryan, yes you can get cider in Icmeler, just came back 10 days ago. Strongbow available in bottles but can be quite expensive - about 7 lira, but there is a Turkish cider (can't remember the name of it but its in a green glass bottle), and was paying 4 lira in our hotel for it - not quite as good as Strongbow but very pleasant.

Yes, we found some lovely strawberry cider in the shops. Delicious chilled!!!

the cider that we had was also in a glass bottle, however it was a white/clear cider-not the colour of Strongbow! It was 5 lira and tasted really quite nice (even though I thought it was more of a white wine than a cider)

I tried the cider in a white glass bottle last Sunday and it was excellent ,much nicer in my opinion than Strongbow.
