can anyone tell me the price beer at the various bars etc

Most places a large Efes is about 2.5 lira (£1)
In the Champion though it's 1.75 lira.. having said that I bet someone else knows a cheaper place

Sugars Buffalo has got to be the cheapest in Icmeler.

1-50YTL for a large bottle of Efes
1-5oYTL for a pint of Efes in an ice cold glass
1YTL for a glass of Efes

I see Sugar is doing the usual price war and a pint for less than 60p and a half for less than 40p is amazing

Can you tell us where this place is please. The other half was well impressed with the price and we are going back in October so he would like to have a bargain Efes!!!

Dianne,
its up the side street were the Dream 3 Bells is on one corner and the Amalia on the other.
This road is also opposite the Blue Rainbow.

Hob Goblin is aso next door to the Buffalo buy a meal here and get your breakfast free.
Angel Inn is also on this road also the Champion Bar another cheaper venue.

when we were there (about 2 weeks ago) they would give a large draft for 1 YTL and a bottle for 1.5YTL. The thing is they pourded a full bottle into a large glass - thus meaning a bottle was 1 YTL.
there were about 6 of us most days in there for a few afternoon drinks and we could get a game of pool and darts.
just be careful with wanting a lager top. we asked for a bit of lemonade (first drinks of day). The guy behind the bar put about a quarter of a pint of lemonade in our four pint puts (we asked for bottles) We then drank another bottle each so was expecting 12 YTL. amazed when the bill came and they asked for another 10YTL.
Saying that owner was good as gold and said next time just ask for a sprite to share and knocked off the 10YTL

deanmorfitt, I was in that dinnertime when you had the query on the lemonade,in fact I was in every dinnertime we used to sit in the corner near the road.
I used to play pool with the grandson.

Got to take dad to Sugars to sample the beer this year, we walked past it last year and dad's beady eyes spotted the prices

just got back today, walked round every night and never did we see any bar less than 2.5 most were around 3-4, not disagreeing with the regulars on here just saying what i found this week

If you come up the road from the beach, past the Blue Rainbow on the left and the Dream 3 bells on the right, it's a little further up on the left. Opposite the chippie.

If you mean 'where' in the UK, I personally have never seen seen it. I would however like to know if it can be bought over here. Hope that's what you meant and sorry I couldn't be of any help

actually i meant where in icmeler we were in marmaris a few years ago, lots of bars were advertising it but none actually had it for sale

the champagne bar had it in, a few scottisg guys drinking it every night there

I was getting Efes Dark in cans in the supermarkets over there. Was about 3 TYL, cheaper than the bars but just as nice

I found that most bars sold the Efes Dark in Icmeler, also, as Bazza said, most of the Supermarkets sold it as well.
You could hear the bottles and cans screaming from the fridges as you walk past them "let me out, we need to be drank"

I know you can get it in Heaven bar which is just off the beach next to the Kontes and Efendi hotels
