The Mamosa restaurant at the corner of the canal is a must. The staff are fantastic and the food is some of the best I have tried in Icmeler. Chefs speciality is indian food - its beautiful! The wonderful waiters will keep the children entertained all night with there magic tricks!
Let me know if you try it or if anyone else has been there!

Hi Lynne,
they always play nice music there and always seem friendly but not so pushy,
will give them a go in August, those magic tricks will keep my grandson amused.

Hi Sandy,
In defence of the canal restaurents I myselfe dont think the prices are high.
Chicken Breast with all the trimmings, with a free metza starter, followed by complimentary coffees or liquours or sweet costs £5.17 per person and this is with excellent service and views.
Peppered Steak with all the trimmings and again as above costs £8.50 per person.
Large Effes costs 3.5ytl
I think these prices compare very well with most restaurents in Icmeler,
of course we all can pick a place were we can get a cheaper meal, my recomendation would be the Erdem cafe on the promenade, inexpensive food and drinks and with magnificent sea views all this for 3 or 4 pounds.

yes i agree with you sandy. The welcome has a fantastic chef and excellent service but very casual and relaxed atmosphere. The lads that work there are such a laugh. Especially one called Abick. Give it a go, you wont be dissapointed. The turkish chicken curry is to die for (mild and creamy).

I also don't think canal prices are high,we ate there 99% of the time, because we love that area of Icmeler. If I like a place on holiday,I will eat there anyway regardless of price, why eat somewhere just because its cheap??We found everything reasonabley priced and excellent value for money

This might be a bit late but the Kingsland is right next door to the Idas hotel. Diagonal from the Pop Inn restaurant. Hope this helps
