HAIRDRESSERS AND NAIL TECHNICIANS???

Postby andiescottie » 03 Aug 2007 16:52

Hi all!!
As I have said in a previous post I am going to Icmeler on 20-27th august for my friends wedding. (YIPPEEEEEEE!)
Can anyone reccommend a good hairdressers to go to to get a wash and blow dry and straightened too?
Also due to ill health my once lovely nails are now rubbish. I plan to get either a set of gel, silk, or acrylic extensions. Can anyone recommend somewhere that does a good job? Any idea of prices?
The bridal party and I are satying at the bella mare so if possible is there anywhere within hobbling distance (i use cruthches)?
The man upstairs didnt bless me with super model looks so I need some assisstance in looking presentable!! lol
Many thanks for your help.

I get my hair washed and blown straight every night when on holiday, hate getting all hot and bothered doing it myself  .
I go to Sebastians near to 3bells...they also do nails in there.I havent had them done but my aunty has and they were lovely.
But i'm sure any hairdressers you go to...if you tell them you want it very very very straight they will do it!! haha

I also used the hairdresser (Excellance) across from romeo and juliets in June went every second night and it cost me £6 for wash, blow and straighten and though never had the same lad twice they always did a good job (and I am really fussy about my hair being right) they also do nails, eyebrows etc but did't have done so don't know the prices. The main lad speaks good english also so he tells the person who will be doing your hair what you want.

Hi

The hairdressers next to Prince is amazing. My 7yr old wanted her hair straightened on the last night of our holiday!!!!! They just blow dried it and its the straightest its ever been!!! No ghd just hairdryer and brush. Think they only charged 10 lira as she was just a little thing!!!!

We stay at the Bellamare which, if you havn't been before, is above a row of shops. There is a hairdressers in that row (or there was last September). I use this nearly every evening as I can't be bothered to do it myself, and it's only a few quid. They do a really good job, and also do nails etc. I don't know if they do Gel nails though.

just got back...my 12 year old & i had wash & blow dry whilst there...re earlier reply ,about agreeing on price beforehand, make sure you do this...the hairdresser (had a waiters outfit on so didnt give me much confidence in his abilities) asked if we wanted conditioner....& what was advertised outside as a five pounds wash/blow went up to TEN pounds....................silly really, because we would have gone again for a fiver..but not ten.
went to the hairdressers next to mersoy hotel,,,,facing 2 sisters (?)
