Postby deanmorfitt » 25 Jul 2007 11:49

we are travelling in a large group and although most of us have been before we werent with the three little ones we have - aged 5-7.
Anyone have any suggestions on keeeping them entertained - especially the day time, where to eat, where to drink etc.
Only 18 days to go so really getting ready for the holiday.

We first took my triplet nieces to Icmeler when they were five and found it really easy to keep them entertained. We bought them little life jackets and they wanted to spend most of their time at the pool! When we managed to drag them away we took them to the beach, on the water taxi, on the dolmus, round the market stalls. They love going to Cafe Anne on the water front for milkshakes. Theres a couple of playparks about Icmeler that'll keep them entertained for a wee while. Another must is Wonderboys and Oscars who have like mini petting zoos with tortoises, rabbits etc that is something a bit different! When it got really warm and we were out and about we bought bottles of water and poked some holes in the top of it and made out they were water guns so we could squirt water at them and cool them down. It meant they still had fun and we didnt have the ususal moans and groans about being tired and asking to be carried  Hope some of this helps, have a great time

We always take some colouring books and pencils to keep them amused while we are waiting for our meal at night
