I am due to arrive in Icmeler 6th August I am hearing that there is a bit of a heatwave at the moment (warmer than normal), anyone out there or just returned care to confirm?

I don't mind as long as I have a pool and the sea to coll off in

Hi Robert when we were there end June beginning of July it was very hot high 40's even getting into the 50's don't know if it's true but we were told that our first Wednrsday was the hotest temperature ever recorded.Think you have the right idea sun bed,pool,bar, sun bed,pool bar.Anyway have a fab holiday.

I know someone who is in Marmaris at the moment, said its roasting hot and to get hotter!

I arrived back monday night and I can tell you it`s still getting up to 50c

I can confirm that it is very hot over there and in the 50s
my friend who is over there now says that people are
sat in bars & wont go out as its too hot to sit in the sun etc

My friend is over there just now and text me last night saying it was 46 degrees yesterday

It was allmost to hot when I was there.. Came home 2 weeks ago to day..

I WANT TO GO BACK NOW!:(

I'm flying out on Sunday, can't wait. Hope the weather cools down a bit by them coz I'm not sure I can cope with these temperatures

I'd prefer the water to be a bit cleaner than that for swimming in but thanks for the suggestion, I will bear it in mind when I book my next holiday

Just received a text from my daughter who's out there working.
It's been 53 degrees today with forcasts of up to 57-58 degrees in the next few days.

That is no good, far to hot. I hope it cools down for middle of August. That kind of heat is a killer. Just been watching the news and Greece are having alot of fire's in the mountains at this moment.

Any further updates?

Update from my daughter..
She says it's dropped back to the high 30's now

High 30's.. mmm, around 100 degrees in old money then!

If it stays at that throughout the middle of August I'll be happy.

Heard from a work colleague, who's brother is out the at the minute... saying that it's 30 degrees at midnight - not sure how accurate he is, but sounds like a few warm nights are on the way!

Forecast starting next Monday is that temps to drop to low 30s, just right ,dont reackon much to going to Icmeler & sitting under an umbrella.
We go on the 24th cant waite.

Hi all.
My norn irish skin is panicing about this v.v.v.hot weather!
My friend just texted me to say that it is 38 celsius in icmeler today. So if any of you are there around the 20-27th august and you see a tall bruntte with a northern irish accent, suffering from heat stroke, come over and say "hi andrea!"
Was gonna say buy me a wee drink too but my fella would find that a tad weird! lol

Hope it goes down a bit in Sept!! haha

Got back today from Icmeler stopped at the babadan, most days it was up in the 50's very hot......
