Seriously John, do ICR do a boat fishing trip and if so, do they supply tackle, bait etc ? I'd love to go on one of those.

There is a boat I use myself similar to a taxi boat and I go early morning before the sun gets really high and I have always caught lots of fish.

There are plenty of tackle shops in Marmaris where you can purchase really nice telescopic rods and a decent reel and all the bits you need for less than £20 then pack it all in your case when you leave and you have it all for the next visit.

Cheers for that John, I'll definitely be giving that a go in September. What kinds of fish do you catch ? Sea Bass ?

you have to use bread for the bullet and small pieces, but be warned you cannot have anything on your fingers, any oils or deodrants put them off so be careful.and also the bread stays on the hook approx 3 seconds before it is snatched by tiddlers!

you can fish for them the turkish way and for around 50p you can buy a length of line with loads of hooks on it which you wrap around a lump of bread and then the mullet attack the bread and swallow the hook.
